Funnel drop-off by stage

Journey owners can use it when they need to locate the stage where losses increase and focus their next review on that transition.

Follow the drop-off through every stage of a funnel and identify exactly where the journey loses the largest share of people along the way.

How to use

  1. List the stages of your funnel in order, from the widest audience to the narrowest one.
  2. Enter one value per stage in the input field, keeping the same order as the journey.
  3. Run the calculation to see the drop-off between each step.
  4. Find the stage where the relative loss looks largest and write it down for your review.
  5. Change a value or clear the field to test another scenario and compare journeys.

Example

With values such as 1000, 420, 180 and 60, the tool follows the decline from one stage to the next. Look at the transition that loses the largest share, then ask whether that step is a form, a payment or a sign-up that needs review.

Where processing happens

All calculations happen in your browser. The funnel values are not sent outside and stay on your device. You can test several journey scenarios without creating an account or exposing internal figures.

Frequently asked questions

How many stages can I enter?

The fact sheet does not state a maximum number. Enter one value per stage in journey order, and keep the list short enough that the drop-off pattern remains easy to read.

What does a high drop-off mean?

It means a large share of people who reached the previous stage did not move to the next one. Treat it as a signal to inspect that transition rather than as proof of the cause.

Can I use percentages?

The field expects one value per stage, usually a count of people or actions. If you only have percentages, convert them into consistent values first or check whether the tool accepts them in your case.
