Generate a strong secret passphrase

For anyone who needs a memorable credential without personally choosing words that may be easy to predict.

Draw a secret phrase using cryptographic randomness and receive a strong, readable combination that matches your selected settings.

How to use

  1. Enter the number of words you want, from 4 to 12, in the field provided by the interface.
  2. Run the generation to get a passphrase built with cryptographic randomness.
  3. Read the produced phrase and check that it contains the number of words you requested.
  4. Copy the passphrase and keep it in a password manager or another safe place.
  5. Erase the result to generate another phrase without leaving the previous one visible.

Example

With the sample input 6, the tool builds a six-word passphrase. Look mainly at how readable the phrase is and at the number of words you get; you can then memorise it or store it before leaving the page, but avoid writing it in a public note.

Where processing happens

The passphrase is generated inside your browser. The random draw happens on your device, and nothing is sent or saved remotely. You can create a secret without an account or a file upload.

Frequently asked questions

What does cryptographic randomness mean?

It means the words are drawn using a randomness source intended for security, not an ordinary generator. The goal is to make the phrase hard to guess by simple trial and error.

How many words should I choose?

The interface accepts 4 to 12 words. A longer phrase usually offers more combinations, but it is also harder to memorise, so choose according to how you plan to use it.

Can I reuse the same passphrase on several sites?

It is better not to reuse a passphrase across different services. If one site is compromised, every other account protected by the same phrase also becomes exposed.
