Crop a precise area from an image

For creators who need to recenter a subject, remove margins or prepare framing for a specific layout.

Isolate a precise area by its coordinates and receive an image cropped around the useful subject, without keeping unwanted edges.

How to use

  1. Start by importing a PNG, JPEG or WebP picture from your device, keeping the file within the 20 MB limit.
  2. Look at the image and identify the top-left corner of the area you want to keep.
  3. Enter the X and Y values for that starting point in the matching fields.
  4. Type the desired width and height so the crop rectangle covers only the useful part.
  5. Apply the crop, review the preview, and download the new image once the framing looks correct.

Example

A designer needs a square close-up from a wide photo. They check the coordinates of the subject, enter X and Y for the starting corner, set the width and height to match, then export a cropped file ready for the layout.

Where processing happens

Your browser opens the selected picture and performs the crop on your machine. The original file is not transmitted for this step, so the extracted rectangle is produced locally and stays under your control.

Frequently asked questions

How do I find the correct X and Y values?

Use an image viewer that shows cursor coordinates. Place the pointer over the top-left corner of the area to keep, note the numbers, then copy them into the X and Y fields.

What happens if the crop area goes outside the image?

The tool cannot create pixels beyond the original edges. Keep the starting point and the width or height values inside the image boundaries, otherwise the result may be incomplete or rejected.

Does cropping keep the original image quality?

The crop itself does not add blur, but the exported file may be re-encoded depending on the output format. Check the downloaded result to confirm that details remain sharp enough.
