Ideal for phone photographers, upload workflows and photo libraries where pictures sometimes appear sideways or upside down.
Read the EXIF orientation and rotate the image automatically, producing an upright copy without trial, error or manual adjustment.
A photographer imports several phone shots and notices that some appear sideways in the gallery. They upload one affected image, keep JPEG as the output format and start the correction. The resulting copy displays in the right direction for publication.
The file is uploaded to the YOORfree computing server, processed in memory without disk writing on the gateway, then deleted at the end of the operation. The file and its result are kept for up to 15 minutes by default on the web server, then removed. Neither the name nor the content is logged, and no third party is involved.
The file may not contain usable EXIF data, or the orientation may already be baked into the pixels. In that case, the tool has no rotation instruction to apply and leaves the image unchanged.
The result is a new image produced after processing. Depending on the output format, metadata may be rewritten or lost. Keep the original if that information matters to you.
Yes, TIF and TIFF are accepted as inputs, and WebP is among the available outputs. Then check that the software or destination site supports the format you selected.
