Roll dice with the chosen number of faces

Players and game designers roll several dice when they need immediate results with a chosen number of faces.

Roll several dice with the chosen number of faces and see every result immediately. Use it for free in your browser, with no account required.

How to use

  1. Type the number of dice you want to roll on the first line of the input area, using a whole number.
  2. Enter the number of sides for those dice on the second line, for example six for a standard cube.
  3. Run the generator to get one random value for every requested die.
  4. Read the displayed results, then clear the field if you want to prepare a completely new roll.

Example

The sample asks for three six-sided dice. The output shows three separate values; use them for a damage roll, a tabletop check, or a quick simulation, and rerun the tool when you need a fresh set of results.

Where processing happens

The roll happens entirely in your browser, so the number of dice and sides stays on your device. Nothing is transmitted, which makes it easy to test game rules without an account or a remote service.

Frequently asked questions

How can I get a total instead of separate values?

The tool lists one value per die. Add the visible rolls yourself to form the total for that throw, or roll a single die if you only need one simple number.

Can I roll dice with different side counts at the same time?

No, the input expects a number of dice and one shared side count. To mix a six-sided die and a twenty-sided die, make two separate rolls and combine the results afterward.

Can the number of sides be very large?

The field accepts a numeric value, but keep it within a range that makes sense for your use. An extremely large side count produces values that are hard to use in a normal tabletop game.
