Where processing happens

The range is generated entirely in your browser. The start date, end date and step you enter stay on your device and are not uploaded or stored, even when you adjust the range repeatedly.

Frequently asked questions

What does the step in days control?

The step sets the interval between entries. A step of 1 lists every day, while a larger step skips dates and returns one entry every two days, every three days and so on.

How are the start and end bounds handled in the list?

The list begins at the start date and advances by the chosen step until it reaches or approaches the end date. Depending on the step, the final entry may fall before the end bound rather than exactly on it.

What happens if the end date falls before the start date?

A positive step cannot move forward from a later start to an earlier end. Put the earlier date first, or use a negative step if the tool supports it, then generate the range again.
